The 2038 eruption of Mt Hood was an incredibly violent and explosive eruption that lead to the deaths of 243 people, $12 billion in damages, and lead to the National Park being closed for 5 months, leading to a huge disruption to the tourist flows, which indirectly led to $201 billion in damages as a result of this.
