Being one of the worlds well known Super Volcanoes, Yellowstone has had a long and violent history of Eruptions.

Most of them Being Super Eruptions.


But the size of the 2019 Eruption was a Bit Surprising, as it was a bit smaller than what people believed was coming.

Raking as a VEI 7 on the Volcano Explosivity Index, the Yellowstone Caldera Eruption of 2019 was one of the Worst Volcanic Eruptions to happen in North America in Recent History.
